The evening approaches again
I'll put on my jacket
pick up my thermos
and closing the door walk home
a road walked before but never before
to have a conversation had before but brand new
to taste a recipe old tried and true
cooked once more but different as well
This has all happened before
but it hasn't
that's the secret.

I love that feeling. Walking around town last evening was so familiar yet so new. Your poem flows like an old friend's wisdom :)
Yes :D
Thank you for your comments Nathan. It's encouraging :D
And I try to mix the old friend's wisdom with zany antics.. to keep a healthy balance ;) haha
